Faith is a missionary kid (mk), having grown up in Ethiopia and attended RVA for her high school years. She went for the 5 year plan of college, attending 4 different colleges and majoring in Pyschology and Intercultural Studies. She returned to RVA as a single dorm mom, and then returned with Rodney after their first child was born. They were on staff for RVA for over 15 years. She loves chai with family & friends, deep talks, gardening, photography and God’s creation.

Rodney is also an mk, spending time in Liberia and the US as his parents worked in the home office of SIM. He attended Moody Bible College and majored in International Ministries. He is a jack of all trades guy. He can do plumbing, building, electrical, vehicle maintenance, basically anything with his hands (according to his wife)! He loves motorcycles and is heavily involved in Enduro sports in Kenya. Rodney and Faith are currently missionaries with Commission To Every Nation and are starting a new ministry of reCenter.
Our kids
3/4 attend RVA
Some of our kids attend RVA which is 30 minutes away from Escarpment Cottages. Our first born now lives in Idaho, and our second born is planning to head there soon too.
We also have 2 dogs, Willow & Marmite, that enjoy life on 2 1/4 acres.
